I almost always agree with his view of the world. I love his honesty and fearlessness in telling it like it is. If Bill Maher and Jon Stewart didn’t exist I think I’d go insane!

I love his sense of humor and his sense of adventure. His friend Charley seems really nice as well.

The first time I saw Johnny Depp was at the premiere of “Young Guns II” in Westwood where he asked if the seats next to me were available. Stupidly, I said no since it was my roommate’s seat and he was out getting popcorn. Johnny and Winona ended up sitting elsewhere in the theatre. Oh well… Luckily, a friend of mine in L.A. used to be in a band with Johnny in Florida when he was growing up. He introduced me to Johnny at a club in L.A. and Johnny was really nice and very soft-spoken. My roommate also used to play in a duo in the basement bar of Johnny’s club but unfortunately I never got to see Johnny there. I think he’d be a great person to hang around with. Plus he’s going to play Sweeney Todd in the movie version of the musical to be directed by Tim Burton and my favorite musical of all time is Sweeney Todd (I saw the original version in previews).

I loved how naturally quirky he seemed on Feasting on Asphalt and just think he’d be fun to hang out with.

I met Bono on U2’s first tour of America and was lucky enough to do a number of fun things with him in D.C., N.Y., Asbury Park, NJ and Philly. I would love to meet him again to reminisce and let him know how much I appreciate that his band’s music has remained relevant, beautiful, and inspiring through all these years. I’d also like to let him know how much I appreciate how effective he is in all of his humanitarian efforts
